P-Turkey is Peter Kay's side project - sometimes expression comes in forms other than music for the concert hall. All these works are FREE to the public, and you are encouraged to download, listen to, and spread this music to whomever you feel will enjoy it.

Mostly ReMixes, P-Turkey's works combine a classical style with dance music and electronica. Sometimes the original piece is only altered by use of electronic instruments and the addition of a beat. However, most of the new arrangements undergo significant changes and are combined with entirely new music.

Perhaps the most interesting work is "I Will Do My Part" which is P-Turkey's most recent work. Built from audio clips taken from the 2006 State of the Union Address, this work illustrates the cavalier use of several terms and catch-phrases like "Freedom" and "Terrorism." The piece is written in an approachable, popular-music style - something of an electronica/rap/hip-hop blend, allowing its anti-war message to be heard clearly. Perhaps most facinating is that these audio clips are seldom edited. They are spoken as you hear them with a flowing rhythm that lends itself beautifully to the music.
